Presidential Weight Loss Tips? I Dont Think So!

By Henry John

Right now, its very unlikely that the 44th President of the United States is thinking of dishing out weight loss advice to the nation! He has, perhaps more than any other President, got more on his mind that the weight of the nation...or should he?

His main focus will be the financial health of the nation and well it might be because its in bad shape. It will take more than a sticking plaster to put things right. Hes going to have to consider more drastic action " and lets hope the patient survives!

There are more people who are either overweight or obese than ever before. This is having a tremendous effect on how the nation performs. Far too many people are unable to give of their best because of their physical condition.

If the people of the nation cant perform as they should, then this is going to act to the detriment of society. Families are going to suffer and the likelihood of a weight related disease occurring in the majority of peoples lives, will increase.

All is not lost because in the new President we have an example that we should take note of. He keeps himself fit and exercises every day. He eats well and looks after himself. If he can do it shouldnt we try and do the same thing?

Whats his big secret? Two of the most important weapons in his armoury are available to all of us. The first is self-awareness. The second is self-discipline. He therefore has the ability to know and the ability to do.

The other thing that he has done is to remain as self-aware as possible and not let bad habits take over his life. No secret in this either except that it takes effort and commitment.

The real secret to being as healthy and fit as our new President is to lean new habits. If youre trying to lose weight, and you want permanent weight loss and a diet free life, the secret is to learn new habits, slim habits. Only then will you be able to change and operate at you best " not only for your benefit, but for the benefit of everybody else too. - 16732
